Call to Collaborate Series: TennCare Unwinding/Redetermination

TennCare Redetermination: A Call to Collaborate (TC2023)

Description
The end of the Public Health Emergency is rapidly approaching! This means that many of Tennessee’s 1.8 million enrollees will be subject to the annual TennCare renewal process called, redetermination. If history is any indication, many eligible families will erroneously lose their coverage. Unfortunately, many enrollees will not realize that they have lost their coverage until they try to fill a prescription at a pharmacy, schedule a doctor's appointment, or seek medical services at a hospital or clinic. Others will be overwhelmed by the process once they receive the renewal packet.

Sound scary? Well, it is. However, there are easy and practical ways to not only prepare your staff for what is to come but also to help families navigate the process. During this FREE 1-hour presentation, we provided a general overview of the renewal process as well as TennCare’s redetermination plan as presented to CMS. We described the potential pitfalls that you need to know as well as provided you with strategies to consider when developing your specific plan for helping your constituents. There was also a question-and-answer session immediately following the presentation along with an open invitation to explore ways we can help support your efforts to keep people covered.

If your clients, patients, or constituents rely on TennCare or Coverkids for their health coverage, you will not want to miss this informative webinar. Best of all, there is no cost to attend.
